AutoSketch Whole Cloth Design Techniques Book/CD

Product Description
The instructions in this 36 page illustrated guide are intended to show time saving techniques to design whole cloth quilts as well as other types of patterns. Basic knowledge of AutoSketch is highly recommended. This is not a beginner book. A CD is provided with SKF pattern files to make the Rose & Swag Wall Quilt. (These patterns can also be used individually in other projects.) It also includes SKF files for each design step that can be opened in your AutoSketch program for closer examination. The instructions are geared for Statler Stitcher patterns with macros and text, but the dxf files can be converted for IntelliQuilter and CompuQuilter systems by removing the text and macros.
The instructions cover: *Page setup *Uses for guidelines *Circular and rectangular array *Many tools and drawing options *Scaling designs *No sew lines *Pause *Making a complete design from many patterns *Dividing a complete pattern to stitch in segments *Many other helpful tips
You will be shown step by step how to create a small whole cloth quilt that can be stitched with a single starting point. We will then break it up into sections to be stitched in a larger area. These techniques are also great for experimenting with whole cloth design. SKF files are provided. These patterns are copyrighted. You have permission to use them on your personal or customer quilts repeatedly and to create additional designs. They may not be shared or sold.
